A CALL TO HOLINESS
“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:14-16
Dearly beloved in the Lord, after coming to Christ’s saving knowledge, the regenerated person is expected to guard against the evil desires which belonged to his or her former way of life, and fully embrace the life of holiness which can only be found in Christ Jesus who is our Lord and redeemer, for holiness reflects God’s character. Let’s pray for the grace to walk in holiness every day of our lives.
