“If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to God,
who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!” Psalm 66:18-20
Dear Christian friends, God has made it clear to us in his word that He detests sin. If our relationship with Him will thrive, then we must not regard iniquity in our hearts. The sinful position of our hearts obviously hinders our prayers and disturbs our relationship with God. Let us therefore pray to overcome besetting sins in our lives.
