COVETOUSNESS: BIRTHED OUT OF DISCONTENTMENT

COVETOUSNESS: BIRTHED OUT OF DISCONTENTMENT
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”
Exodus 20:17

Dear Christian friends, covetousness is birthed out of discontentment; being unsatisfied with what we have and desiring what others possess. It is worth noting that covetousness is abhorrent to God. Instead of coveting what others have, let us pray for the grace to be content and to become better versions of ourselves every day.
