HARD WORK: NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR FAITH
“It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.”
Psalm 44:3
Dearly beloved in Christ, in as much as hard work pays off on the road to success, it is worth noting that true success is actually achieved by God’s help. As Christians, we are therefore required to combine both absolute trust in God and hard work on our path to attaining success. To be precise, without faith in God, our hard work will amount to nothing.
