HUMILITY: THE PATHWAY TO DIVINE EXALTATION
“But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:“God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.”
James 4:6
Dearly beloved in the Lord, pride has been the cause of the downfall of many great men and women throughout history and even in our time. When pride takes root in our hearts, we begin to think that we have no need of God, and this deceptive feeling gradually causes us to exalt ourselves above others. However, if we desire to be favored and exalted by God, we must follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, who humbled Himself and became obedient even unto death.
