Rev Superintendent of Police Mrs. Emelia Quist was appointed by the Ghana Police Administration and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) as the first female Chaplain of the Ghana Police Church in August 2022, bringing with her nearly three decades of distinguished service in the Ghana Police Service as well as the Presbyterian Church.
As an Ordained Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, she has served as Probationary Minister, Adabraka Official Town Congregation of PCG, Minister in Charge of the Bethel Congregation, Sakaman District of PCG, and Associate Minister of the Emmanuel Congregation, Dansoman, PCG.
Rev Supt Mrs. Quist holds a Master of Divinity (MDiv), an MBA in Human Resource Management, a Bachelor of Management Studies, and a Diploma in Business Studies. She has attended numerous National and International Conferences across the globe including International Peacekeeping. Her passion lies in guiding individuals to serve God faithfully by utilizing their unique talents and skills. As a Christ-centered discipler, she believes that true fulfilment in life is found in the transformative power of the Word of God. Her ministry is deeply committed to engaging and empowering the youth, using God’s Word, prayer, and a strong work ethic to inspire meaningful life transformation. She is married to Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Emmanuel Isaac Quist, and they are blessed with three sons and several adopted children.
