LEARNING THROUGH AFFLICTIONS
“It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.”
Psalm 119:71
Dearly beloved in the Lord, it is worth noting that God sometimes allows afflictions the way of his people to teach them new spiritual lessons in life. In our moments of pain and distress, we are expected to pause and prayerfully find out from God if there is something new to learn from such difficult situations. Afflictions can teach us to rely more on God’s word and become intimate with Him.
