Singing Band

The Ghana Police Church Singing Band, established in July 1975, is a fellowship of over seventy members dedicated to spreading the Gospel through various musical renditions including gospel highlife, choral music and anthems, while fostering a strong sense of love and “brotherhood” among its members.

Originally formed by police personnel and their spouses, the Singing Band participates in local, district, and national events through its affiliations with the Security Services Singing Bands’ Union (SSSBU), the Presbyterian Singing Bands’ Union, and the National Union of Methodist Singing Bands.

Beyond enriching Sunday services, weddings, birthdays and funerals with their voices, the band engages in Bible quizzes, sing-alongs, conferences, and church visits, all aimed at nurturing spiritual growth and unity. Bi-weekly meetings are held for rehearsals.
