THE CRY OF THE RIGHTEOUS
“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:17-18
Dear Christian friends, to “cry out” to God means to desperately pray to the One who can save us from our predicaments. In scripture, God’s righteous people are assured of answered prayers. He offers hope to His own who feel broken, and depressed and comfort and deliverance to those in distress. Let us pray that the Almighty God will give ears to our cry for mercy and deliver us out of all our troubles.
