THE HUMBLE SHALL BE ELEVATED
“But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:“God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.”
James 4:6
Dearly beloved in Christ, the sin of pride has led to the fall of nany great giants in both past and present times. The spirit of pride, directly or indirectly, makes us feel we have no need of God and causes us to gradually elevate ourselves above all others to the displeasure of God. To be favoured and elevated by God, the Christian is expected to follow Christ’s example of humility.
