UNCHECKED JEALOUSY LEADS TO HATRED: WATCH OUT
“Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted?”
Genesis 4:6-7a
Dear Christian friends, a genuine follower of Christ is expected to guard against jealousy, because unchecked jealousy can easily lead to hatred. Instead of becoming jealous of the favour God has shown to someone else, as Cain did, we should open our hearts to God, asking Him to help us overcome it and become better versions of ourselves.
