“When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.”

Dearly Beloved People of God, God’s promises are certain, and His timing is always perfect. Abraham did not receive God’s promise immediately; he waited patiently, trusting in God’s faithfulness, and in due time, God fulfilled every word He had spoken. In the same way, we may go through seasons of waiting for breakthroughs, healing, provision, or answers to prayer, but we must not lose heart. Let us remain steadfast, obedient, and confident that the God who fulfilled His promise to Abraham will also fulfil every promise He has made to us in His perfect time.
