“She caught him by his cloak and said, “Come to bed with me!” But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house.”

Dearly beloved in Christ, God’s word admonihes us to be on guard against the seductive strategies of the enemy. To be free from such evil traps and their destructive consequences, the believer must learn from the example of Joseph who resisted the seductress. Like Joseph, we must resist the temptation to sin vehemently, and by the help of the Holy Spirit, run for our dear lives.
